Where it fits
Small recessed cans and compact track heads often take a PAR16 where a regular bulb would stick out. You screw it in like any household bulb. The hard glass reflector aims the light down and forward, so a kitchen island or a hallway gets a pool of warm white. The neck is long for its width at 3.08 in, so check the depth of the fixture first.
Check before you buy
- Your fixture takes an E26 screw base, the same as a household bulb.
- The opening is about 2 in wide and at least 3.1 in deep.
- The fixture label allows the wattage you choose.

Pick another one if
It is not a low-voltage MR16, even though the two faces are the same size. An MR16 has pins and this has a screw base. It is also not the bulb for a 4 inch can, where a PAR20 fills the opening better. Pick the wattage your fixture names and no higher.
What buyers say about the PAR16 Halogen Flood Bulb, 120V E26
4.4 out of 5 from 77 ratings. Reviews word for word, with the critical ones left in.
Long lasting
Great to finally find a bulb that works perfect, is long lasting and fits into my lights. The biggest one is that it is long lasting. My nearest big box store carried two different brands and it only lasted for 1 year. It was also very expensive. These are less expensive and so far has lasted well over one year.
Does what it's supposed to do.
Don't know what to say, but these were just as well as anything. I would usually get at the local electrician store.
